There's a new month tomorrow and a new job for me.
So I'm choosing to highlight a project I did with my pupils at my former job as an Arts and Crafts teacher. This is from an assignement where 6th graders make a figure in modeling clay inspired from superheroes. They start with making an armature with steel wires, mount it to a tree brick base, sculpt the rough shape out of used/mixed modeling clay then the pupils decorate it with thin plates from the unmixed modeling clay.
That way we still get use out of old/mixed modeling clay and by then reduce our climate footprint.
Afterwards could the willing pupils have me take a picture of their figure and then photoshop it into a "Superhero Poster"! And here are the finished results:
PS: The groups of pupils where called "Surf" and "Turf".
