Lectures about graffiti/Street Art

Held 3 lectures @ Tønsberg og Færder bibliotek
about walls and streets with a cultural impact.
Once I roamed my district with noisy paint.

The first one was about the history of Graffiti from
a Hip-Hop perspective.

Second lecture was more about the diversity of
Street Art from knitting to Stencils and more.

Last one gave a little insight on the
differences between Street Art and Graffiti.

Thanks to the people who attended these events
and a very special thanks to the library of
Tønsberg wich gave me a place in their program,
and helped out with all the practical stuff.

If you're in the area, please check out the new
program coming out in August!

An oldie, but a goodie!

Tønsberg's first "XXX" store?

Revisiting this work made me realize how much my
woodworking skills have improved.
"Det lille X-tra" selling porn-related material way back in 2005.

Art Jam 2.0!

This weekend was the 2nd Art Jam held by Grafill.
It is a forum where game developers and designers, artists
and illustrators can meet, hang out and create ideas.
The low key vibe and chill atmosphere was exactly what
I needed and my anxious expectations went away as soon
as I realized that this group of people was just like me.

Grafill's location R21 in Rosenkrantz gate 21, Oslo.

Some of the girls and boys gathered in groups.

We all got together in groups and started working on
the theme "Human body". The idea was to create a concept
for a game that we would like to see happen. What we
wanted to do with this task was up to us, either sketch out
some characters, environments or design the webpage or
logo for the game.

My workstation.
Art Jam 2.0 also included pizzas and really interesting lectures
by Frits Olsen on Saturday and Bjørnar Frøyse on Sunday.
Here we got some insights on the creative processes behind
creating a game and also some technical insights on game
development.
Bjørnar Frøyse, Technical artist from Krillbite studios,
talking about the possibilities of using shaders.
When the first day came to an end we all went to a bar for
some refreshments. The climate was lighthearted and
I really felt at home. Jokes and sharing tips on the best
netflix shows and movies to sum up most of the night, and
of course sharing each others personal information and work.
On Sunday we continued with our game and made some more
sketches. My team used Laptop, tablets, Wacom drawing board,
markers, pencils and gouache paints, so here was room for
whatever medium you preferred. Each group then held a
short presentation about their game concept and we voted for
the idea we liked the most. The winning team got goodiebags
and then the Jam was over :( I can't wait to see all you
good people again!
I end this post with some of my sketches.
